The Camp

See the Rustic Charm

The camp is Set in 5 acres of private land, owned by a local Kenyan couple (Daniel Letoiye and Ntoiles Lekoomet) with a rustic charm all of its own, the Camp shelters in the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro which is Africa’s highest and the Mountain with the most famous snow-capped in the region. The camp is named Sarai Camp, Amboseli. Sarai is a Samburu name of a tree species (Balanites glabra) which is a dominant tree species in the farm, its named Lngoswa by the Maasai. The camp is an easy twenty-minute drive to Amboseli National Park.

The Camp is located at the edge of Oltiyani conservancy buffering the conservancy with farm lands in the East (GPS: 2°50’26.6” S 37°29’44.3” E). The Camp is built eco-friendly, built with all-natural materials that makes you feel one with nature but still gives you all the luxury you need for a perfect relaxing stay. The Power in camp is provided by solar energy, making sure the footprint left is little as possible.

The Tents

The camp will house a total of 10 tents with 20 Bed capacity at its maximum, with Makuti shades on top with their own private bathroom with flushing toilet and a specious bedroom.

The Bar

The open, spacious and airy lobby area is also part of the bar counter and you can also order your cold drinks of your wish with ease.
